Our doomed journey

The first day was quite a remarkable one... wakig up at 5:15 isn't a good start to any day, but it becomes 10 times worse when you have a 8 hour journey. So at 6:00 we went from the Golfbad in Oss to the airport of Bruxelles Chaleroi, a journey which would take any capable person 2 hours... yeah you've probably guessed it, but thanks to our intelligence it took us 3,5 hour just because we got the wrong highway exits all the time.

When we arrived at the airport we rushed through the customs to the right gate, which suprisingly went well the first time. After the 1,5 hour flight t the airport of La Rochelle, where we took the bus to the city centrum.

We strolled around 3 hours through the city of La Rochelle waiting for the bus to arrive. So we had plenty of time to prepare and take the right bus... yeah, well... we got screwed by the bus driver. We asked him if it was the right bus, he said we should take another one. So we waited and when he drove away we knew he lied to us because we went to the informationstand and realised we had fucked up.

So we strolled around the city for another 3 hours waiting for the bus in the rain... we were exicted when it arrived we didn't trusted French bus drivers anymore so we didn't ask him, but we found out we were in a schoolbus, which drove from Île d'Olèron to La Rochelle, a 2 hour ride.

We arrived at our location, the camping L'Accolade, where we were welcomed by a whole committee, both voluntarys and guests which I was quite surprised about...

Tomorrow the next, tonight celebrating we made it...
